Full- Time Tenure Track Regular Faculty/Assistant Professor

The Division of Infectious Diseases at the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University seeks a full-time tenure track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor on the Investigator Scientist Track to begin fall 2017.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or PhD/MD degree, plus peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity, the ability to perform cutting edge research, and current grant funding support. A research interest in investigations of the host response to RNA virus infection, with a particular focus on the dynamics of host-virus interactions is desirable.

Division faculty are expected to provide leadership and scholarly mentorship to graduate, medical students and fellowship trainees. Start-up resources and compensation are available and commensurate with experience. The start date is negotiable. The position will remain open until filled.
