Skills
Grow and maintain cultured human/primate cell lines and fungal isolates with good aseptic technique, molecular cloning to produce recombinant DNA molecules, perform viral infection assays in human/primate and fungal cell lines, extract, purify and analyze DNA, RNA and protein samples from cells and tissues.
Maintain laboratory supplies and consumables from PI’s budgets and assist in general management of the laboratory.

Self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to apply their skills and to learn new skills to tackle important biological problems related to infectious disease.
Prior experience working in the biological fields of microbiology, virology or cell biology.
Experience in producing written documents relevant to the communication of laboratory results, including scientific papers, conference abstracts, progress reports.
